      Ukraine needs sincere security guarantees for this war to end otherwise we are just delaying time for another incursion in the future.

      Unlike the US’ support, which is reliant on whether or not Putin can keep blackmailing Trump based on the Moscow pee tape and whatever else he has on him as blackmail, Canada and the UK stands by Ukraine unequivocally.

      Until they receive a peace treaty that isn’t just Putin fan fiction, we should not support it and continue to back our close ally Ukraine.

      I am convinced that every decision Trump makes is for himself. He builds a ballroom in the Whitehouse for him. Similar to how people touring Versailles will see the theatre built by King Louis 15th, Trump wants people to see the ballroom and be reminded of him.

      For Ukraine, Trump desperately wants to be acknowledged as the man who single-handedly secured a peace deal between the two nations. He wants that legacy so much that he is willing to try to do it the easiest way possible – by appeasing Russia. He would willing throw Ukraine under the bus and harm relations with his nation’s allies, so long as he can have the „legacy“ of ending the war.

      Trump desperately wants the Nobel Peace Prize not because he wants to secure peace or help people but because he wants to be recognized as a great man. The pathetic thing is that if he wanted the NPP, he could actually try helping people. He could actually work towards a solution that is worthy of the prize. However, Trump is incapable of understanding any actions that benefit other people. Instead, his inflated ego has him convinced that he has _already earned the Nobel Peace Prize_ and that they just aren’t giving it to him yet. IMO, anyone who tries to get the NPP _doesn’t deserve it._ People receive it for achieving something great and helping others. Trump just wants it because of himself.

      The sad thing for Americans is that their nation will be left stained because of this man’s ego and obsession with his „legacy.“ They will have a ballroom that will forever remind them of the worse president they’ve ever had. A president that had zero regard for the constitution and rule of law. They will have people from around the world disliking the USA because of what this man is doing. A nations reputation that was destroyed due to the selfishness of one man.

      Ironically, Trump will get what he wants – a legacy. It’s not a good one, though.

      Indeed. To be clear about what’s on the table coming Friday: it is NOT a peace deal. It is a temporary cease fire. The temporary part is not defined, so by Saturday, Putin is ‚free‘ to continue the war.

      I think Trump will try to take Canada and Greenland next after 2026 after he secures military control over the american people. They dont abject enough against Putin or Netenyahu with their hostile takeovers. Only the people of the USA can stop them….and they are not doing very much. They should be out in massive droves outside that Whitehouse. Most seem to be more into profiting.

      I think only America has the clout to stop Isreal. I think they wont.

      American people are letting the world down by not doing something right with the power they hold over the world.

      Too bad all that Marvel moral preaching about power and responsibilty didnt actually sink in with Americans. America has the the greatest power….
