Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky warned that Russia „must not receive any rewards“ for its ongoing military assault on his country, ahead of the Trump-Putin summit in Alaska on Friday, August 15.
U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin are set to meet to discuss a possible peace deal that ends Moscow’s ongoing invasion of Ukraine, including a territorial settlement.

Who does this Zelensky think he is?
It’s not like his country is being in an existential war with Russia /s
There are around 200 sovereign nations in the world. Russia can negotiate with all of them. In the end it only matters what Russia and Ukraine agree. Until then it makes no difference whether it is the US or Lesotho that Putin talks to.
Common sense.
Wars going to be back on in 5 years and Russias not going to be running out of gas this time when they march to Kyiv.
What a joke.
Zelensky can decide for himself whether to implement the agreement that Trump and Putin reached on Ukraine or not.
He is an adult and understands the responsibility of his actions.
Trump has not once talked about doing anything but end the war by surrendering to Putin, it’s one of the reasons he was boosted back into the White House after all.
He is, of course, absolutely right.
Trump has pretty much already promised them recognition of land they’ve seized, lifting of sanctions etc I hate to admit it but the future is looking bleak for Ukraine and parts of Eastern Europe
