Official Code ‚ 1-207.40] (a) Notwithstanding any other provision of law, whenever the President of the United States determines that special conditions of an emergency nature exist which require the use of the Metropolitan Police force for Federal purposes, he may direct the Mayor to provide him, and the Mayor shall provide, such services of the Metropolitan Police force as the President may deem necessary and appropriate. **In no case, however, shall such services made available pursuant to any such direction under this subsection extend for a period in excess of forty-eight hours unless the President has, prior to the expiration of such period, notified the Chairmen and ranking minority members of the Committees on the District of Columbia of the Senate and the House of Representatives, in writing, as to the reason for such direction and the period of time during which the need for such services is likely to continue.**

>(b) Subject to the provisions of subsection (c) of this section, such services made available in accordance with subsection (a) of this section **shall terminate upon the end of such emergency, the expiration of a period of thirty days following the date on which such services are first made available, or the enactment into law of a joint resolution by the Congress providing for such termination, whichever first occurs.**

>(c) Notwithstanding the foregoing provisions of this section, in any case in which such services are made available in accordance with the provisions of subsection (a) of this section during any period of an adjournment of the Congress sine die, such services shall terminate upon the end of the emergency, the expiration of the thirty-day period following the date on which Congress first convenes following such adjournment, or the enactment into law of a joint resolution by the Congress providing for such termination, whichever first occurs.

>(d) Except to the extent provided for in subsection (c) of this section, **no such services made available pursuant to the direction of the President pursuant to subsection (a) of this section shall extend for any period in excess of 30 days, unless the Senate and the House of Representatives enact into law a joint resolution authorizing such an extension.**

This is just a test for him to prevent Congress from certifying the 2028 election if it doesn’t go the way he wants it to. Without ransacking the Capitol again, he’s just going to deploy the FBI and police.

Because homeless bums always have a Glock or a S&W under their blankets in case they wanna quietly murder someone for a gold coin. Didn’t you guys know there’s a secret organization of hotels giving out assassination contracts to these people?

The playbook is older than any of us — and it’s being run again right now.

It benefits the ultra-rich and powerful — on both sides of the political aisle — for the rest of us to be distracted by sensational headlines, “us vs. them” fights, and nonstop political theater. While we argue, they quietly consolidate wealth and power, strip away our rights, and make it harder for regular Americans to push back.

Step one in this playbook is always the same: dehumanize a group of people in the media — homeless, immigrants, “gang members,” whoever is convenient — until the public will tolerate more extreme measures. History is full of examples: strip dignity, then property, then rights… and sometimes, lives.

Now look at what’s happening:

DC just reported its lowest violent crime rate in over 30 years.
📉 Violent crime down 35% from last year.
📉 Homicides down 32%.
📉 Robberies down 39%.
📉 Armed carjackings down 53%.

Yet we’re hearing claims that cities are “war zones” and the only solution is calling in the National Guard. That’s not about public safety — it’s about optics and control.

We’ve already seen this pattern:

National Guard sent to LA under the guise of fighting gangs, but the overwhelming majority of deportations were people with jobs, families, and long-term residency.

Homeless in DC being evicted into camps with Guard assistance.

Now the Guard is being called in again to “deal with youth gangs,” charging teenagers as adults for maximum political points.

Best case: This is all political theater.
Worst case: They’re normalizing military presence in American cities, conditioning us to accept martial law, and setting the stage for suppressing protests when election results don’t go their way.

Make no mistake — this isn’t about gangs, crime, homelessness, or “keeping you safe.” This is about the top 1–5% tightening their grip while we’re too busy fighting each other to notice the rights and freedoms being quietly dismantled.

Stay focused. Look past the noise. This is late-stage capitalism and creeping authoritarianism in real time.

Remember when Trump was first elected and you shrugged and said “ Whats the worst that happen?🤷?”

Well this is one of those things we feared.
