Mein Name ist Darko Markovic Darmar, Konzeptkünstler/Designer, der für Amazon, Sony, Coldplay, DNEG und viele mehr gearbeitet hat – und ich möchte etwas teilen, an dem ich in den letzten zehn Jahren gearbeitet habe.

In Zeit der KI entschied ich mich, völlig anders zu gehen.
Innerhalb44 ist ein Science-Fiction-Universum, das ich ausschließlich aus der Fantasie geschaffen habe, 10 Jahre Arbeit, die auf 544 Seiten originaler Geschichtenerzählen und einzigartiger Konzeptkunst geprägt ist. Vom Worldbuilding über Design, VFX, Konzeptkunst, Schreiben und Marketing musste ich jeden Schritt alleine tanzen. Ich habe jede mögliche Art und Weise untersucht, wo wir in den nächsten 200 bis 300 Jahren mit Technik, Leben und so weiter gehen können.
Es gibt sogar einen vollständigen Dokumentarfilm, der den gesamten kreativen Prozess erfasst, und ich denke, er kann Menschen inspirieren, die etwas selbst bauen wollen.

I’m always up for new things what kind of medium are you targeting? Book? Tv? Cinema?
The art style looks cool, but I’m not sure if our current age needs more (sci-fi) worlds filled with wars and violence…
I just watched the intro, and going to watch later in the evening after finishing my essay due today.
The story and intro is amazing! I am so excited to watch the rest of the video. Definitely will reply again with my thoughts!
I’ve stumbled upon this post, and one thing that bothers me is: why are you going about it this way?
Let me explain.
1. A random post on Futurology. Unplanned and randomly dropped.
2. 10 years of effort without building a strong community around the project. The videos range from few hundred to two thousand views MAX on YouTube. (3,5k subs)
3. No marketing – this is the first time I hear about this.
4. You seem to have experience and passion but that’s not enough nowadays. You need exposure.
5. I feel like I shouldn’t be saying this because you seem to be someone FAR more experienced than I am.
In conclusion, you think George Lucas could drop Star Wars like this nowadays and it would become a smashing hit the way we know it today? NO! The world is different now. You could have the best Sci-Fi gem on your hands ever made, but if no-one knows it exists it will go nowhere.
