Jesus Christ. the level køpe. Ukraine will likely NEVER get any of their land back especially Crimea. This is the reality

I love Ukraine but to be honest I very much doubt they get crimea back until ww3

Honestly, every day that Russia struggles to beat Ukraine and fails to force them to surrender is another victory. More Russian invaders dead, more Russian tanks and planes destroyed. More Russian resources expended, more Russian oil facilities burning, more Russians doubting if Putin can get the job done.

I’m okay with the Russians failing on a regular basis. Eventually, they’ll get tired of getting beat up and go pick a fight with someone else. Maybe some old grannies or some people they can actually beat.

    4. > And Donetsk, Luhansk, Mariupol and Crimea will be Europe when the Ukrainian flag flies over them again

This is delusional if he believes it, and kinda unhelpful to say even if he doesn’t. Yes, the Ukrainians are still fighting over the rest, but Crimea is never coming back short of a full-scale collapse of the entire Russian state. Ukraine does not have the military means to make even the slightest impression on the status of Crimea, the failure of the 2023 counteroffensive made this very clear, and acting like they can is badly misleading.

      > Ukraine and Europe will prevail!

Idk, unless we actually do any fighting I’m not sure we can insert ourselves into the anticipated victory circle like that.

Buddy if we ‚Europe‘ do nothing to support that, it won’t happen. Words are wind.

The Sudetenland returned to the Czechs not just because they were part of Europe or anything.

Absence of action, empty statements, ignorance. I hope Europe gets a taste of its own medicine.

    7. So it’s already settled?

As a European I have to say, that this war was completely for nothing, and how ashamed I am about our idiot leaders rolling over for Trump and Putin.

    8. Terrible double standards by the Czech government Russia can’t get away with occupying Ukraine but Isreal can get away occupy and stealing Palestinian land and committing genocide

    9. Well what should we do with the pro-Russian Ukrainians that lived before 2014 bc most of them are still pro-Russia and still don’t accept the Ukrainian State.

Damn, the Russian Bots are hyper aggressive af in this thread.

Something must spook the Kremlin here

    11. Did he get access to Zelensky’s cocaine stash or how on earth did he come up with such delusions?

    12. Unless Europe shows some real military power on par with 1000 nukes or the 7th fleet of the USA, it does not seem to matter much what it thinks or says; it will be just ignored, and forced to sign humiliating and discriminatory treaties like the one Von der Leyen signed recently.

Yes, but it is better to bring about it through security and cultural victory rather than war.

IF….. don’t forget the word IF. And looking how Ukraine is doing right now, I really hope that it won’t happen ever, ever again. Would hate to see my beloved home falling back into the filthy, incompetent, corrupted, nationalistic and hateful talons of Ukraine.

The problem is we need to aid more, or we risk becoming under TerroRuzzia’s attack again.

Another moron talking the talk unable to walk the walk…I hate these people with a passion – they’ll just sit in positions of power and spout bullshit they won’t ever pair with actions. Fucking pathetic. Why!? Who the fuck needs this useless cheering!? Maybe actually provide extra help? Nah, fuck it, these people will just be tone deaf like that.

    17. Whatcanyado420 on

Imagine thinking this will ever happen when Europe refuses to even fight a war against Russia when it threatens their own borders. Much less fight in Crimea lmao

    18. I have better idea how to end war in 24 hours….

Let’s make a deal that all citizens of Ukraine with territory stop being Ukraine and enter Poland and viola they’re in NATO and EU in a day.

Surely it’ll be only on paper, later we will solve burocracy and Poland will not touch Ukrainian land that can be on contract.

    19. LiterallyDudu on

And how do we intend to kick the few hundred thousand Russian soldiers in full gear from those places?

    20. Mindless_Chart8243 on

We Europeans need to openly consider sending in the troops. Even if just to scare the shit out of putin.

      Enough of playing games.

    21. I’m Crimean. And I’m soo fucking tired. Leave me alone. I don’t want to live in Ukraine, I don’t want to live in Russia. We’re different I don’t like them both. Ukraine betrayed me, Russia is just fascist. I just want to live peacefully, outside of those two

But as long as Crimean independence is not on the menu…..

    22. will_holmes on

The way I see it, there isn’t really a middle ground outcome for the war – either Ukraine falls completely or Russia’s economy collapses (because they run out of currency reserves) and they withdraw entirely. Any frozen line on the map within Ukraine is just a pretext for a bigger war in the same way that the first ceasefire was.

Certainly Crimea isn’t going to be conquered by force, but if Russia can’t pay its own military any more then they’ll be forced to give it back by treaty to get western sanctions lifted and to stop potential Ukrainian insurgencies that they can’t afford to defend against.

What it takes is to keep Russia in a war economy for long enough, and eventually they won’t be able to pay for the war.
