We’re always getting sucked into the mud with real stories so wanted to post a light-hearted one with no real social consequences. Is there a single person who doesn’t own MAGA merch that believes he scored this low? And is the specific score of a 69 pure coincidence?

First, shooting your age is a big deal in golf (scoring as low or lower than your age). It is a big deal even when done on a crappy municipal. Shooting 10 under your age has possibly never happened in history on a real course. On a good course like Bedminster, the odds of that happening are somewhere in the vicinity of an elephant coming out of the ass of a mouse, while flying around Jupiter on a unicorn.

Anyone who has played golf for a length of time has heard the claim that golf exposes your character because it is a game of honor and integrity. This comes from the fact that you keep your own score and that there really are no referees of any sort. I am sure that 90% of the rich white guys whom I avoided playing golf with over the years voted for the pedo and forgot their own words about golf. (Yeah, I am a rich white guy, but there are, thankfully, exceptions.)

The guy who has gotten caught cheating at everything also cheats at golf. That should be the headline. Or more appropriately RELEASE THE EPSTEIN FILES.

Whenever Trump’s golf habits come up, I think about the immense opportunity Biden had in the debate to say Trump only wins championships because he cheats, but instead went on the defensive about his handicap. A better answer to Trump’s stupid boasting in that moment could have changed everything.

You’d think if he really was any good at golf, he’d want every round filmed completely and broadcast on TV so we could all see. It’d even be its own channel or streaming 24/7. Instead he posts clips taking a single shot without seeing where it ends up, and then pictures of his scorecards that he writes up himself.
