We are actually doing really well , im more worried about next year lol .
This year is baked in , we have two options for next year .
Provide a window of stability by freeing up and opening lanes for investments in Canada that need to start moving this winter .
Or
We assume things will calm down with America and assume that buisness and people will not hold back in fear for what will be the shit show of CUSMA negiotions next summer .
In my opinion If we dont substantially create opportunities by Christmas and investments dont start moving then we are absolutely going to get dog walked economically next year , essepiecally if Trump settles his scores with China and India by then .

Kevin O’Learny and Howard Lutnick call on Canada to open their markets to the USA if they do not want to suffer more job loss.
Canada is inflicting pain on their economy by taking a taking a hard stance against Trump’s attempt to negotiate and establish trade deal terms.

OP, you think the whole Epstein thing is a distraction intended to sew discord?
That’s a narrative you seem to be promoting.

I’m not surprised you are posting this story.
I made this comment earlier on another sub;
Trump (and his operations) are promoting a movement among like minded people in this country.
Young people are being targeted especially.
Narratives Dividing people regionally ( Quebec, Alberta), and dividing people generationally, anti immigrant and immigration, promoting a sense of hopelessness, despair, especially among youth are some of the narratives being amplified online.
Existing tensions and issues are amplified to divide, demoralize and defeat.
Putin is active in this sphere in places like Ukraine, Maldova, the Baltic states……. And Putin uses similar tactics
Some bad news about jobs losses is unfortunate but some view such a story as an opportunity to exploit to promote a narrative especially among young people.
