How did the manufacturers not foresee this happening? 🤦♂️
I’m not sure how the part has any value in stealing if it needs a expensive calibration after installation and can be disabled if stolen.
Potentially a cheap solution would be for the car manufactures to sell the part at cost or subsidise the part so it is sold at below cost.
Meh, kids these days know the value of nothing.
