Isn’t this the same man that suggested we have our own purge day?

Even though the crime stats don’t support this.

He is inventing a reason for a crackdown. Because he doesn’t want to have to drive past homeless people in the Capital.

      >Donald Trump has ordered federal officers to start sweeping the streets of Washington DC, launching what the White House is calling a seven-day crackdown on violent crime just one day after threatening to “federalize” the city.

      >The mobilization, which began on Thursday night, follows an attempted carjacking that left well-known Trump administration figure Edward “Big Balls” Coristine bloodied and injured. […]

      >The deployments come despite crime statistics showing violent crime in Washington hit a 30-year low in 2024, according to city police data. Crime has continued to decline in the first half of 2025 compared with the previous year. […]

      >The announcement follows Trump’s social media threat to take federal control of Washington DC if local authorities failed to address crime. In a Truth Social post, the president called for minors as young as 14 to be prosecuted as adults […] Federal officers from the US park police will lead the effort, supported by Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s homeland security investigations unit and enforcement and removal operations divisions. […]

      >The Washington Legal Clinic raised concerns about the operation’s scope, warning on social media that Trump was planning “7 nights of action, rounding up homeless people and attempting civil commitment or arrests for as many as possible”. The organization noted there was currently no available shelter space.

Lets crackdown on the convicted felon, serial sexual abuser and pedo in the White House.

„While Trump and Musk claimed a brutal assault involving a gang of men, the MPD reported an unarmed carjacking, with only two 15-year-old suspects detained, a girl and a boy…“

Big Balls got „assaulted“ by 15 year olds, apparently. Doesn’t quite add up and hardly an excuse to invade a city. WTF is an „unarmed carjacking“ anyway?

They probably called him an asshole and he had a temper tantrum and wanted to show his power.

Establishing a military presence in the nations capitol because his administration is becoming more unpopular than ever. This absolutely won’t end after 7 days. Protesting in DC will be impossible going forward.

Federal military personnel clearing the streets in DC? I would imagine that many of the homeless population are in the “nothing left to lose” category. Some of those people might be armed. What do the military personnel do when confronted by armed American citizens, with nothing left to lose, who take a stand and defend themselves?

He’s mad because BigBalls got his ass kicked. That or it’s a dry run for martial law.

    9. Child rapist occupying the White House turning America into a police state day after day….and most of America just goes…“meh“…because it hasn’t directly impacted them or someone they care about…yet.

    10. So just to be clear, it seems to me that he plans to turn the US Capital into an occupied military encampment.

And those military will likely have orders to drive out any unhoused people or even perhaps more broadly, anyone Trump considers to be a criminal element. Based on past experience, that’s everyone brown.

Anyone who claims to support this is many things, but chief among them is un-American.

And if Trump goes through with this, the GOP will do nothing to suggest any accountability for Trump.

    11. It’s as violent as all the „violent illegals“ he keeps deporting.

In other words, not at all.

    12. The beginning of Trump taking control of DC so he can protect himself from what’s coming for him.

I get the idea that he doesn’t want mass protesters doing a J6 but that doesn’t make much sense to pull this stunt now.

That gives too much time for courts and human rights groups to work against it before the next election (not that it’ll do any good)

My tin foil hat conspiracy is that something is very close to happening that will result in his removal from office and he’s not going to go quietly so… “federalizing” WDC is his cover.

The same Trump that refused to intervene when a mob was attacking the capitol?

Anything to distract from the fact that President Donald J Trump has paid money in order to engage in sexual relations with young girls.

    16. This is beyond fucked. Because he can do this literally any time he chooses. He could pick a town that hasnt had violent crime in 20 years and declare an issue with it and who is going to invalidate his claim? Absolutely nobody.

DC, learn from us here in LA: stay mobile, look out for your communities, and stay vigilant. Diversity of tactics, don’t get kettled, and have a helluva music festival (for those on tiktok.)

    18. Was at The Wharf, which is about as upscale as it gets in DC proper excluding maybe Georgetown, and DEA agents were patrolling in tactical vests like brownshirt wannabees. Barf.

    19. Remember when that democratic politician Melissa Hortman and her husband were literally assassinated by a right wing terrorist with a list….and Trump barely commented, didn’t attend the funeral? That was two months ago.

There’s a bunch of crime happening in the Whitehouse.

      Let’s start there.
