Knew him 20yrs ago. Great guy to just sit and listen to anecdotal stories from over a pint. He never came off as pretentious or ungrounded because of his fame. One time he brought a gift for his son into the place I worked and asked if I thought his kid would like it…….. it was Eric Clapton’s guitar from Cream, autographed to Bobby’s kid. Yeah, I’d say it was a decent gift. lol. RIP Bobby.
RIP Bobby. Thank you for the music that will live forever.
