      Are they being sent to Colombia heights to strike fear into random poor peoples neighbo. So that the crime of working whie poor and dark skinned can be eliminated.

      Or are being sent to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave? For the 1000’s of crimes being committed there daily.

      How many FBI agents we have? I mean there already have been good amount of them left or get fired. Then many of them get assigned to work under ICE, and now they have to patrol the DC street.

      What about their original job? You know the serious crime, international gang, anti terrorism?

      I’m sure the people who were aspiring to be FBI agents by working hard to get good grades and keep their nose clean are super excited about being relegated to the job of beat cop. Especially knowing they are just being used as pawns to distract from the Cheeto-Pedos kiddie diddling.

      The policies of the previous administration saw the crime rate in DC drop 35% and at the end of 2024 the lowest crime rate in 3 decades! With the rate still dropping in 2025.

      I prefer our resources be used for what they were hired to do. Investigate and prevent major crimes and/or attacks. Let the police handle petty crime. But, obviously, they would rather not investigate themselves and instead point the crime finger at the poor, as usual.

      This doesn’t make the slightest bit of sense. Do they even have enough cars for those? Are they wearing their suits around or FBI windbreakers in what I assume is horrible heat and humidity? Are they giving them all bat belts with spray and baton and so on?

      How do they call for backup since they aren’t the local police force so don’t have their own dispatch. If they’re using the city, does the city have hundreds of spare radio to give them all, time to train them on their codes and procedures?

      Etc. This is either going to be incredibly dumb and dangerous or exactly as performative as sending the Marines to the not riots in LA.

      FBI agents must be so excited. My grandfather was an FBI agent. They didn’t sign up to be beat cops. Many have masters degrees. Many started in a police department and then applied to the FBI for a reason. They don’t even have a uniform! This is all stupidity. They should be rounding up sex traffickers and pedos at 1600 Penn.

      I thought the FBI was too busy redacting Trump’s name from the Epstein Files and from tracking down Democratic legislatures from Texas. Guess not.

      Considering all the top secret files he lugged off the first time around, quite a bit of government stuff is top secret. So I think there is a different reason for this action, but if they say it is him being tough on crime, it makes him look good. CUz putting Feds on the streets doesn’t really make sense. (not much does these days)

      What would FBI agents do to „crackdown on crime“? Aren’t almost all of the crimes in DC occurring in the white house anyway?

      I guess all of those FBI agents that had previously been investigating fraud, domestic terrorism, and foreign influence operations need something to do now that the Trump administration has decided that those things are no longer something the FBI need to be bothering with.

      Just to point this out there, but Republicans are reducing the level of work the FBI does to basic policing.

      So instead of investigating higher level problems that take a different set of skills to figure out and catch certain types of criminals, Republicans have reduced them to a bare basic police force.

      Release the Epstein files.

      Yes, crime is rampant there, rampantly declining:

      Violent Crime:
      The Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) says violent crime is down 35% compared to the same period in 2023.

      Homicides:
      Homicides are down to 48 so far this year, compared to 64 during the same period in 2023.

      Carjackings:
      Carjackings have been cut nearly in half, with 498 incidents reported in 2024 compared to over 950 in 2023, according to MPD data.
