r/formula1 is growing after decades of decline, gotta hand it to the new administration

Im a pretty big fan of the sport, saw the movie the other day. Of course there are some technical things that are incorrect but overall it was a very enjoyable movie. And as a fan, the cameos were simply delightful, even if a LOT of the people have changed since this was filmed.

Watching this movie turned me into a dad and I don’t even have kids.

The movie had a production budget of $300 million. It has yet to break even at Hollywood’s formula of „Budget X 2.5“. And that’s not even including the budget for advertising.

Saw it in 4DX, that was a pretty amazing experience.

If there’s anything more boring than F1, it’s probably a movie about F1.

Is a Brad Pitt-led movie about one of the most popular sports in the world directed by the guy who made Top Gun 2 becoming a hit really a surprise?

I have zero interest in F1, and I saw the movie for the second time in IMAX today. It’s just a great experience in IMAX, especially the sound. It’s definitely one of my favorites this summer. The story is nothing ground breaking, but man the racing is fun and full of adrenaline. Definitely recommended seeing it.

What I learned from this movie is that people should be crashing their cars every race

If it was released in 1980…it would have been a summer blockbuster !
