Why is it always rich people doing insane stuff like sexual assaults, beatings and whatnot. You have the money and fame, you can easily find willing people for that kind of activity.

    2. I hate this fucking world. Instead of educated professionals, we get idiots who professionaly get punched in the head to be presidents.

Welp, he saw the US elect a rapist, thought he’d be fit for Ireland.

    4. It’s true, he’s not fit to be the president of Ireland. He sexually assaulted people, and didn’t he punch an old man because he didn’t want alcohol?

Their constitution says it clearly, he can try all he wants and be loud about it but won’t be nominated regardless, period.

    6. For all our friends in Europe and the USA, don’t worry. Cocaine McRapist will never be President of Ireland. Our constitution has strict rules on how you get nominated to the ballot. It’s designed so that the political parties get to say who runs for the role.

Also, it is a ceremonial role with almost no political power. The President of Ireland does not call the shots in Ireland.

    7. The presidency in Ireland isn’t like the presidency in other countries. McGregor is a dangerous spoofer.

Maybe he can try his luck in the US instead, fitness for office doesn’t seem to be much of a concern there.

It cannot be overstated how much the people of Ireland despise the rapist Conor McGregor.

    10. What? America elected an idiot racist pedophile rapist and everything is going aces over here.

    11. Just when I though he was starting to look presidential. How could they say this?

    12. I don’t know „President Dickpic Mc Rapey“ has a ring to it.

I wish he’d just apply for U.S. citizenship and stay there for good. Him for Rosie O’Donnell seems fair.

Wonder how long it will take Trump to give him a green card and for him to move permanently move to the USA

    14. Time to >!not!< make history and elect the first head of state with a cauliflower ear!

      >Responding to an interview McGregor gave to The Sunday Times, in which he said he is considering a legal challenge to the eligibility rules for the presidential elections

Oh, the irony of the British press reporting about the restrictive process a country has to becoming a Head of State
