The Royal Albert Hall banned all flags that weren’t the Union Flag from 2024 and said they would be removed
So not sure why the man got an apology

This is the dumbest bunch of responses I’ve seen in a long while, grown adults arguing that a tiny pin badge is a flag.

Just to end the dispute about what the policy is:
“Some flags will not be allowed in the auditorium, including those from proscribed groups, flags related to protest, hatred, or advertising, or flags that are larger than 0.5mx1m. “
It all sounds like a simple mistake to me? Is this a flag? Is it a protest flag?

Halt the presses! They made a ‚middle-class ex-public school boy‘ wait an extra 15 minutes whilst seeking a second opinion from a supervisor. How dare they???
