      At this point this hypothetical meeting is probably not gonna even happen. Putin/Russia are heavily implying they don’t want Zelensky present. The US fucked up because Witkoff stupidly misinterpreted what Putin was offering assuming Putin was withdrawing instead of what he was saying Ukraine must withdraw, so the US provided false info to Zelensky and others that triggered the optimistic comments on the war possibly ending soon.

      Now everything is a mess and unclear and Trump is now saying he might invite Zelensky to the Alaska meeting anyway when the original plan seemed to be 2 meetings, now no one knows what the fuck is going on based on all these reports.

      The bottom line with Trump’s involvement is it will put America first with Trump at the helm. He doesn’t really care about Ukraine or Europe.

      This war is going to end with Nukes isn’t it? I’ve had a horrible feeling in the pit of my stomach ever since it began, and everyone is just trying their hardest to put on a smile and a brave face about a happy ending.

      Didn’t they literally form the “Coalition of the Willing” 6 months ago precisely to help protect Ukrainian interests without American involvement? Where did that go?

      Oh right, it fell apart as soon as they needed American support in order to do anything.

      Other than Trump’s negotiator being illiterate in Russian but pretending he isn’t, nothing has changed since the last round of Russian demands.
