      I love the idea of sending a message by going to a strongly red area to do this.

      These oligarchs want to destroy the country and this is becoming more readily apparent to more people as material conditions continue to turn to shit. The only ones who refuse to see the obvious are the true Kool-aid drinkers.

      Most of the time I disagree with Sanders but on this I agree with him 100%… I’m not a Republican, a Democrat nor an Independent. I’m none of the above.

      Bernie types don’t understand that it’s not about economics. It’s about race/sex. These people more than well know that the Republican Party platform exists to serve the rich instead of them, yet they still vote overwhelmingly for Trump because of his racist/sexist dog whistles and policies.

      Sanders‘ message and messaging can resonate in Appalachia. Don’t go in to Appalachia and make you main talking point „we’re closing down the coal mines.“ when you are talking to a bunch of coal miners. Come in to Appalachia with opportunities for work that don’t require you to work the mines. That will resonate.

      Wheeling is barely WV. The panhandle is a whole lot different than say, Mercer county

      My Pop was a Kennedy fan because he actually came to the homes up in the hollers of WV to talk to the people.

      Go meet the people and LISTEN. Dont tell them what they need, find out what they actually want.

      This is why voting in primaries is huge.

      Sanders was warmly applauded after doing a town hall on Fox News. Americans (even conservatives) are generally in favor of his policies as long as pollsters don’t label them socialist.

      Democrats’ use the excuse that they have to pretend to be right-wing extremists and campaign with them for Americans to vote for them.
