we need to study the international market for superhero to understand why they rejected the movies this year but last year the opposite
Superman was okay. I’m not really a fan of the dopey take on Superman, but the 4 kids I took to see it all really liked it, so it’s probably a great fit for its intended audience.
Comparing the opening earnings of a broadly family-friendly Superman reboot to the lifetime earnings of an edgy-as-fuck sequel to an edgy-as-fuck genre satire is certainly a choice, but I don’t know that it really conveys anything of value.
Ticket prices were cheaper in 2018 than they are today. I don’t know why they go by gross $ instead of tickets.
