    1. It was back at the start of May that Carney threatened ‘concrete action.’ Three whole months later and they’re still talking about condemning. Three months of starvation, mass killings, war crimes, and genocide. None of it has prompted any concrete action, just more empty words.

It’s frankly pathetic but worse, it makes this country complicit. We could be doing more to stop this madness and instead we get a weekly statement precisely as Israel further broadcasts its intention to ramp up the mass death.

    2. >“We reiterate that Hamas has no role going forward, and we will continue to work with our allies to contribute what we can to achieving those outcomes,“ Carney said.

      >Carney has said Canada intends to recognize the state of Palestine at the United Nations General Assembly next month, and that Hamas must have no role in governance.

So how do we accomplish that without an occupation of Gaza? I am genuinely curious what the gameplan is there. Is there are gameplan or are we just declaring what an ideal world looks like without having the guts to actually accomplish anything on that regard?

Hamas does have a role in governance, and they will continue to do so unless somebody removes them. Any takers?
