Submission statement: the us has negotiated a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan. The deal includes a us funded and maintained corridor allowing acess to Azerbaijans exclave through Armenia. The deal also includes significant us investment in both countries

I hope destroying all of his international clout was worth the economic collapse and thousands of dead soldiers for Putin.

Imo: this is a big win for trump, by doing this he has pulled Armenia away from Russia and iran by stepping in as a partner, and has tied Azerbaijan closer into the western network, preventing russian expansion to the south and adding another axis that Russia will have to manage in order to mobilize. This is threat axis 4 now, forcing Russia to spread thinner.

Tell me what Putin wants done and I’ll tell you what Trump wants done.

This is not Trump’s achievement…he is just trying to take credit for it. Anybody who follows this conflict knows that peace negotiations have been going on since at least 2023 or even before that. Don’t get fooled.

      means nothing.

Pashinyan’s approval rating is one of the lowest in the world (13%, lol), it’s unlikely he’ll get re-elected.

if the opposition (nationalist) wins they’ll almost certainly scrap this Trump road w/ Russian backing (at least once convenient) & start working towards a second Artsakh liberation campaign.

The deal is deeply tilted against Armenia & Pashinyan is hated for kowtowing to Azerbaijan & Turkey.

There is a risk of Armenia once again moving to Russia & Iran after Pashinyan considering how the deal will squeeze Armenia in the coming years.
