Now I’d definitely vote for him! We need a Corkonian in the Áras, and he has impeccable musical tasts

I like him but I am always a bit reluctant to put someone who is unknown politically on the stage without a bit of research first. It is highly unlikely that he is secretly a Nazi or a religious fundamentalist but would like to know vaguely what he IS first, and then that might ruin him for some people as a presenter. Would some people feel differently about him if it was revealed he was a full on blue shirt, shinner or Bertie-lover?

anyone got a link to that sketch he did where he’s part of like a paramilitary organization trying to set up Cork as a republic?

John Creedon is a national treasure.
100% Agreed. An Irish man you can absolutely respect.
But he would have to give up his radio and tv shows, think he would do more good presenting them then being hauled up in the Aras
A true gentleman, and very knowledgeable on Irish folklore and culture, we could do no better

Ohhh, I like it. This has potential.
John would be ideal, it would surely be a walkover if he ran.
The ones that’s should never do and then were left with lunatics!
Jesus lads and ladies.
You all complain about late late show guests but can’t look beyond the RTE canteen for a fucking president.
You know what, a true patriot whos a genuinely lovely fella, couldnt fault your suggestion!
But think of the terrible loss to evening radio
I read his book recently and it was fantastic..
What about Marty Whelan?
He’s fucking sound out too, ive met him several times and he’s an absolute gent.
I agree. I’d vote for him in a heartbeat. JOHN FOR PRESIDENT!
I’d vote for him easily over the current candidates
