You call 911 and get the NYPD there to arrest the ICE agents for kidnapping.
This is another reason to impeach trump.

      > ICE facility workers trapped three Democratic representatives between the fence and the entrance as they denied their lawful attempt at entry to a detention center in Brooklyn, New York, on Wednesday.

      So, false imprisonment.

ICE is an out of control American Gestapo.

    3. Since it is on federal property I wonder if that prevents local charges and lets the Federal government protect the ICE agents.

    4. Maybe people stopping members of congress from what they have a right to do should be arrested for obstruction (or whatever NAL)

    5. Democrats need to be visiting these places with marshals or private, heavily armed security in tow.

    6. So ICE illegally detained members of congress. Have those people arrested and charged with felonies.

    7. >We have been trapped in here by a masked agent with no name, and whom we cannot determine who it is because he refuses to show his face,” Espaillat said in the attached video. “We are duly elected members of Congress, and section 527 allows us the oversight responsibilities to go in there and see what is going on with the detention of immigrants.”

This why I always laughed at 2nd amendment folks. You know it’ll never be used when it should.

Idk why the Dems didn’t go with their own security, people have to start protecting themselves.

I don’t want to live in a world where we abandon civility and reason and only strength matters, but that’s where we are now. Act accordingly.

    10. I’m curious what would happen if the state or local government cut power to federal detention facilities. Would the feds have to set up generators? I like the idea of making the whole process more expensive and tying up their resources, but I have no idea what the legal ramifications would be.

    11. This article mentions nothing about when or whether they were let out or in? Are they still trapped or what?

    12. If the government refuses oversight of these „detention centers“, you can guarantee they’re hiding something.

    13. How do we know it’s ICE, and not pardoned J6 traitors coming to finish the job?

    14. I do not see why this should not involve firings and criminal charges. I can think of maybe 3 reasons where this would be okay – huge mistake was made, something malfunctioned, or that there was literally a prison riot going on and keeping people right where they are until it is safer was the best available option. It seems this was either done to deter Congressional oversight or simply as an insane abuse of power.

I guess „wait five minutes for the security detail and warden“ would also work since that isn’t long enough to cover up any big problem, but this just seems like the executive branch blatantly ignoring the law.

    15. This is illegal on so many levels including , illegally detainment, false imprisonment and denying them access.

They dont want people finding out what is really going on behind closed doors. Kinda like what Trump was doing behind closed doors with Epstein

I created a democratic erosion tracker to collect stories like this . . .and I’m running out of room. I really can‘t see any possible outcomes besides unabashed fascism or civil war.
