if you really think about all the racism indians face on the internet it really started with pewdiepie. his targeted videos on india and indians came just because he couldn’t accept that indians started subscribing to an indian channel and it was beating him. even though he himself became the largest at the time because of the english people subbing to him, he and his fans were the ones who started this wave of racism in the first place. they opened the floodgates for others to feel justified in being racist and hateful towards indians
