    1. > What we’re seeing is basically a recession economy in Nebraska and Iowa right now

Nebraska and Iowa both have a chance to elect non-Republicans to the Senate next year.

I suppose it’s up to them whether they want to dig themselves out of this shithole.

It is too bad there wasn’t a way to look at Trump’s record of leadership and have developed an informed opinion.

It seems that Don Bacon (that Republican) might just be better than Trump at **math**.
*It really not hard*, comparing to the guy that just touted a drug price drop of, „1500%,“ (?!?!?) and touted [his invention of, ‚equalize,‘ a word that existed since 1599](https://youtu.be/gs684jQzcMs).

    4. The GOP denied reality to appease Trump.

Reality is now crashing in, refusing to be ignored.

    5. Nebraska … yup.

Agriculture is a huge American export. Nebraska don’t make the gadgets Trump is trying to reshore. Nebraska makes the food.

It is no surprise that Nebraska and Iowa are feeling the deleterious effects of Donald Trump’s deranged and constantly shifting tariffs. Along with the ICE raids on farms and food processing plants, the economies of food-producing states were bound to suffer. Trump didn’t seem to care that the ones left struggling included many folks who voted for him, Republicans who believed his campaign claims of MAGA and „America First“.

Now they are many of the Americans first hit =-and hit hard – by Trump’s un-American policies. Sigh. It’s not as if they weren’t warned.

Sounds like Nebraska needs to cut back on the avocado toast or maybe get a second job.

      Meanwhile, release the Epstein files.

**Representative Don Bacon, Nebraska’s 2nd district**, Omaha metro area.

      > „And honestly, in Nebraska, the GDP here has decreased by 6 percent over the last year,“ he continued. „And it’s all about trade. It’s all about getting corn and soybeans out the door.“

The call is coming from inside your house, dumbass.

    9. And that is gross **domestic** production. For good or ill, we exist in a global market. Even of you manufacture your goods in this country, the materials and tools you need to make them often come from outside the country.

Add to that, Trump has angered some of our closest trade partners leading them to look elsewhere for their needs. With farming’s narrow margins, they will feel the pinch first and hardest and they all fucking voted for him.

    10. Not a trade war…  Trumps ill thought tariffs that he CLEARLY does not understand.

Are Nebraska governor concerns enough to distract from the Trump-Epstein pedophile scandal?

I mean these morons started a culture war to get into power and once they got all three branches decides to line their own pockets. Once they had their fill and looked around, they starting noticing that their own greed has put them into a precarious situation.

Maybe the problem is they’re not worshiping the beast hard enough. Have you tried cutting yourselves while you dance and gyrate??

Some of the foreign nations who were targeted by Trump specifically tar-riffed products that came from Republican voting states like whiskey.

Not just the trade war, the cutting back of spending by the Federal Government is going to affect the Red States the most
