But seriously, do these people know anything about climate change? Are they going to complain about all the countries around the planet who are affected by climate change when the US are historically a big part of the problem?
I am just going to copy and paste what I said elsewhere:
You have to love the party that denies climate change making statements like this..

Sad. Uninformed, low brow republicans. Worry about your own envirionmental issues, rather than offering uninformed opinions. Smoke (and frigging coal smoke) affects all of us.

I have a way we can try. Let’s take away the billions in taxpayer money that goes to subsidize the fossil fuel industry in Canada. We can put that towards fire fighting programs and other measures that counteract the effects of climate change.
Maybe instead of complaining, they should send firefighters and other resources our way to help us fight these fires, sort of like how we routinely do the same for American wildfires.
