U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer flat-out denied that Trump’s tariffs policies are a factor in the jobs slump. „I don’t read tariff policy into that number,“ Greer told the CBS program Face the Nation on Sunday.

Mr Greer can choose to not consider it a factor but as with most of what this administration says publicly, it is likely just a flat out lie but it’s almost as equally possible that he’s just too stupid to be able to connect these dots.
