This is the kind of action Democrat politicians around the country need to take to combat Republican fascism.
The game has changed. We are no longer trying to win over Republicans. We are now trying to marginalize them out of the political arena altogether.
Keep Alligator Auschwitz open. We’re going to need it as we hold neo-Nuremberg Trials for these neo-Nazis. They are anti-democracy, anti-freedom, anti-American.
Fuck bipartisanship. Fuck a “healthy Republican Party.” Fuck the conservative Establishment.
Texas is a failed state

Good. It won’t stop with US House maps, they’ll try to do the same at the state level as several other states already have. Sadly if this backfires for Republicans, nobody will learn their lesson, and any hope for proportional representation or expanding the House goes out the window. They will only grow more and more depraved.
The democratic representatives in Wisconsin did this in 2010. The Tea party representatives didn’t care. They gerrymandered the state. We have not fully recovered.
Gerrymandering works most of the time, but can backfire hugely in a wave election cycle.

Every blue controlled state needs to gerrymander now. There GOP isn’t playing by the rules, it’s time to pay their game.

Why is there so much discourse on Democrats „fleeing“ but not the Republicans trying to further ratfuck an already extremely gerrymandered state? Really just letting the horse out the barn with this one.
