    1. Usually an escaped exotic pet ,but would be really cool if it was a cryptid. Any history of something like this in Canada?

I dont know why you’ve posted this in so many places with zero additional information, however, yeah. My friend swears up and down that he saw a black panther. We live in southern ontario where country meets suburbia, so there are coyotes for sure, but he claims it was black and much larger than a coyote and definitely not canine in nature, much more feline. Wouldn’t surprise me if he was drunk at the time too, but he’s sure he wasn’t mistaken. Has a flip phone so obviously no picture to back it up.

    3. No such thing as a black mountain lion. They simply do not exist.

An Jaguar or Leopard in Ontario? Escaped or released.

2 most likely explanations? 1) big house cat or 2) fisher

Cryptid/alien black cats. Theres a lot of people who’ve seen them. Not just in Canada. Out of place melanated cats. A bunch of sighting from in the rust belt, north up to NY.
