Your loans will be forgiven but you’ll get to live the rest of your life knowing you contributed to destroying people’s lives.
So you cut everything that people need, give billions to this Gestapo cosplay police force, and then let them forgive student debt to people willing to commit crimes against brown people.

ICE is not a group of educated or law abiding individuals. They are just people grabbing at random people and accusing them of not being an American. Americans are every type of person because Americans are descendants of every person that immigrated here from every country. If Republicans were serious about fixing our immigration issue they would hire people that help with immigration and deny citizenship at that point in a timely matter, so anybody looking to immigrate could choose another country to apply to, especially if they are running from a dangerous situation.
Imagine if we did this with teachers

I don’t care how many things they wear that say „police“ or „federal agent“ they will never be anything but an unconstitutional rogue agency full of militia members and racists operating under illegal orders.

When all is said and done, I have faith that any professional history linked to ICE would be looked upon just as the people in 1950 did toward ex-Nazis.
Their actions are SO clear and so inexcusably racist, inhumane, and unconstitutional that not many would want such people in the workplace, if in the community, at all.
Meanwhile, teachers are paid less and have to fight to get their loans forgiven.
FYI this administration is known for not paying its bills.

What’s the fine print? If I join and then quit, can I keep the money? If I join, then sabotage every arrest attempt, can I keep the money?
Wait, I thought they were making it harder for teachers to qualify for loan forgiveness because it’s a handout.
So it’s ok for forgive student loans for ice but no one else. Sounds about right.

Veteran here. Want to know what my bonus was to serve for four years and go to war? $0. Sure, I signed up at the wrong time for the wrong job—I get that. But I feel like it’s still a fair point to make. In fact, I’ve never personally met anyone who’s received more than $15,000 in bonuses. Does that mean there aren’t higher bonuses? No, there probably are. But we signed up to jobs we couldn’t just up and quit, and I’d argue I’ve been in far more hostile conditions than any ICE agent ever has. And those folks? What did they sign up for? To deport mostly peaceful immigrants who pay taxes they can’t even get benefits from. And ICE has the nerve to frame this as a recruitment drive for “patriotic Americans.” There’s nothing patriotic about any of this.
Seems similar to the recruitment drives by the Kremlin.
