      As much as I hate Trump he’s right about that and Europe should do a lot more. Not buying anything from Russia should be a start.

      They are comparing to a month where the pipeline had reduced capacity due to maintenance to make it sound like something it isn’t.

      this is why India will not divest from Russian oil. unltil europe completely stops its purchases from russia and imposes complete sanctions and further usa, europe and their friends provide a cheap alternative in the market it makes no sense for india to stop oil imports from russia.

      Its happens over turk-stream. Daily capacity is about 80 mcm (million cubic meters) daily and 30 mcm is being used for domestic use in Turkey and rest is being transited to Europe.

      In 2024 the daily transfer was about 45.8 mcm.

      So right now turk-stream is capped out.

      On top of that previously the transit over Ukraine was about 44 mcm daily.

      So compared to 2024 russia is down net -39 mcm daily export.

      For the ones who are not reading the article and read only the clickbait title.

      Last month there was maintenance on the pipeline which reduced the amount of gas exports.

      And before I get bombarded with „EU should stop funding Russia“ rhetoric, the EU has already adopted the package to phase out the import of Russian gas

      Isn’t part of the new trade deal to buy more gas from the U.S instead of Russia? A good deal for everyone if it excludes Russia.
