      the image of earth could look fake in the way that it could be intentionally hiding things like extreme weather, fires or war zones / destruction of forest greenery or ocean levels etc.

      mostly due to the lack of the outer atmosphere, the multiple layered clouds that cut off under the shadow and the lack of any lights from cities

    7. they literally admit its thousands of photos that is stitched into a pancake and wrap around a ball in a way people imagine earth to look like. All this shit is so vague. I always though they are images from satellites that are flying into deep space, but then I learned about their ballon project. I came across a graphics kid who did internship in Nasa and she published graphics she did for them. She says the hardest part was to create graphics to reinterpret scientific data. There are literal children working for free doing that sort of thing.
