This piece offers the perspective of a Jewish rabbi in the Bay Area who attempted to bring Hathapeen to speak, only for the activist to be turned away at immigration. It offers a rebuttal to the idea that the forced removal of Palestinians from the West Bank for the benefit of ultraorthodox settlers has any religious underpinning. These are Machiavellian political tactics, not in any way rooted in religion.
