      I wonder how much of that is influenced by the Russian convicts being conscripted. Rape is routine in those places.

      Oh that’s bad. More than 1% of all tested pregnant people are now tested positive during the pregnancy. Because the testing is mandatory in pregnancy, it shows a huge incidence in the civilian population as well.
      According to the articles, just about 50% of infected people in Russia receive medication. Many children will be born with HIV and die because there is no medication.

      The Carnegie report cited in the article says that Russia is reporting 50,000 to 100,000 new HIV infections every year. Worse, that is from a subset of the entire population. And even worse, treatment for it is woeful at best. Thus AIDS will deal another blow to the Russian economy and to its demographics.

      Back at their leaders with reverence and honor? “Like, Stalin, what a great leader!” I’m pretty sure the answer is yes and I’m being naive, but I can’t wrap my head around that. Also, if that answer is yes, Russia is the cause for Russia’s current malignancies, not Putin.

      Is this some nice way of calling your enemy gay? I doubt there’s any HIV-testing going on in the Russian army, that would cost money and the soldiers are all meant to die anyway. Having said that, we’ve all seen the homosexual activities Russian soldiers partake in on the front so yeah: Haaaahaaaa, you’re GAAAAAAAY!
