all in 6 months…. 1/8th of his term and we are turned 180 degrees about and pointed down.

Tarrifs work, though! He should keep raising them!

Remember when MAGA complained about the cost of food? It’s more expensive than ever, and now they’re gaslighting about it.

Almost like it was always only just pearlclutching.

it’s more than just Trump. It’s a systemic failure at every level. It’s big corporations exploiting us while politicians sit on their hands.

    4. You know what’s more important than some fake ass tariffs that are giving companies an excuse to jack up their prices in hopes of increasing profits? Releasing the Epstein files.

Absolutely, he has directly changed market balances and rules to make the rich richer and screw everyone else.

There’s always going to be that 35-40% who will never blame Trump and will deny anything negative they hear about him. That’s how a cult works.

    7. No shit Sherlock! Everything in America is more expensive and will get a lot more expensive because of the assclown

The economy is not why conservatives voted for Trump.  That’s just what they told their more moderate and left wing friends.   They voted for him because they hate the same people he hates, which means they’ll keep voting for him and MAGA.

People are not gonna survive these prices. I guess that’s what he wants since he made homeless illegal and wants to pick people up and put them in institutes to put them into work.

    10. Calm down. This is how you oWn dA LiBs. Just settle in, watch your savings shrink and ultimately evaporate and enjoy the „So much winning!“.

You can blame this Trump but I will forever blame the 77 million voters who voted for this child rapist because Trump won’t be there without these crazy Americans.

    12. They blamed Biden for worldwide inflation, not understanding US handled it better than the rest of the world. They thought Trump could turn back the clock ignoring his literal only economic proposal was widespread tariffs. Two seconds of research would tell you that would only raise costs.

We are still dealing with the cost of living from his first dumb Presidency.

    14. While he isn’t *entirely* to blame (the disconnect between cost of living & wages has been steadily getting worse since, what, the 1960s?), the shit job he is doing with tariffs, the cuts to social welfare programs, the gutting of healthcare systems, the funneling of money to the top, those are **definitely** not going to improve things. They are going to exacerbate what we’ve been experiencing the last few decades alone and speed-run another couple decades of the widening of the gap in just a few years.

    15. And in other news, Donald Trump is a child rapist and child sex trafficker.

-Starting trade wars without understanding how trade works or how US companies depend on being able to export their excess, low quality, goods before it goes bad.

-Making rapid irrational decisions so that US companies cannot plan even a month in the future.

-Throwing impossible numbers around just because you like the sound it makes when it leaves your mouth.

-Insulting or threatening trading partners even when they are willing to go along with your madness.

-Decimating the workforce responsible for domestic production of food and manufacturing with aggressive ‚anti immigration‘ measures which closes down businesses, causes crops to rot in the field, and make legal citizens decide that they don’t want to be rounded up and sent to a concentration camp.

-Cutting federal jobs which check for public safety, help out in emergencies, and which curbs corporate price gouging.

Systemic collapse is the word I would use.

I mean yeah. That 800billion of ppp loans that got forgiven, mixed with dropping taxes for the wealthy totally fucked their economy and sent inflation sky rocketing.

Money printers go brr, stock go up! As the kids would say.

Don’t worry though, biggest sale tax increase ever is making the peasants pay for it all.
