Why Democrats have been asleep until now is beyond me.
Good. If my state is going to gerrymander to be essentially solid red (and hope it actually works) then blue states should do the same. If only one side is playing by the rules they are guaranteed to lose.

The messages come after Texas Republicans released the first draft of the state’s congressional map on Wednesday. Concretely, the map targets members in Austin, Dallas and Houston metro areas and in South Texas, The Texas Tribune noted.

CA/NY should move forward anyway. The only reason the GOPedo is any sort of position is because they ***HAVE*** moved forward constantly to retain their position while CA/NY/etc. play by the rules.
We’re entering an era where states will redistrict whenever they secure strong candidates in otherwise vulnerable spots. Someone wins by D+1, and becomes wildly popular and projected D+10? Time to redraw and bring the safe voters to a swing district.

1. Issue an executive order to force employers and self employed individuals to stop paying federal income and payroll tax. Order the money to be given to the state of NY instead.
2. Declare NY to be a federal tax evasion sanctuary state. Police may not enforce federal tax evasion laws.
3. Issue an executive order to create a central bank of NY. So we can set our own monetary policy.
4. Issue an executive order to print our own currency, legal tender in NY, called the Guilder.
5. Issue an executive order to make NY print its own state citizenship certificates and state passports. These would be given to ALL state residents, regardless of US immigration status.
6. Issue an executive order to declare NY independent from America.
