Donald Trump keeps moving the goalposts. He’ll ALWAYS come up with a reason for imposing tariffs on Canada, even if we appease him on everything he wants. Because his ultimate goal is to annex Canada. So there’s literally no point in any more concessions than we have already given.
So really, let the tariff deadline pass, whatever happens, Canada should stick with their guns. This won’t ever end until the USA feels economic pain.
He just granted Mexico a 90 day tariff reprieve after speaking with their President on the phone.
