    1. Reasonable-Sweet9320 on

      The rankings for some Canadian cities;

      Vancouver 10th

      Toronto 16th

      Calgary 18th

      Montreal 19th

      Canada with four cities in the top twenty.

    2. Becasue we’re focused on removing bike lanes in toronto, instead of making it a more urban, safe, green environment lol – all of that is needed for it to be livable.

      Our transit projects are decades behind, drug issue too big. I think if these things can be tackled it can keep our cities competitive

    3. Because of 12 years of Liberal government bullshit, squeezing the life out of working class Canadians. Wasting time governing on feelings vs. what’s good for the collective good of society..

    4. In edmonton, they’re slapping up these cramped up neighborhoods like no tomorrow and putting up 4 plex’s in place of homes in older neighborhood’s. Over crowded to say the least. Then, you take the LRT or bus and they have advertisements teaching people how to deescalate violent behaviour, and to top it off, the healthcare is turning into a joke. Not hard to see why livability is decreasing in major cities. So glad I moved to a smaller town.

    5. Compared to the vast majority of developing countries, Canada is literally paradise on earth. If Canada were to fully open her borders tomorrow, there would be billions of people lining up to come here.

      These Canada bashers really need to get some perspective.

      In fact, with climate change progressing at a rapid rate, Canada with her abundance of fresh water and natural resources will become incredibly attractive to not only a substantial number of climate refugees, but other world powers.
