Not a lot to go on in the article, but I’m excited that fox is out of the picture. For what it’s worth.

Recognizably different how? We already got R rated and Dark and Gritty through Wolverine and Deadpool’s rendition of mutants. We already got a trilogy where they’re an allegory for the others of society. We got another quadrilogy where they explore several of the more „non-serious“ comic book versions of the characters. What stone has been left unturned between X-Men 1-3, the Wolverine Trilogy that ends with Logan, the Deadpool Trilogy or the reboot Quadrilogy.
