Yes, Alex Acosta brokered this deal and the DOJ reneged on it when they prosecuted Maxwell.
Welp, this is how it happens. No pardon necessary. Off into the sunset she’ll fly.
Hell, even if she were to be tried again and be granted bail, she’d probably just abscond to a certain bff country that doesn’t extradite suspected sex offenders.
Well of course she’s getting out. These people aren’t going to let the floodgates open on child trafficking. That would implode peoples brains more than alien disclosure.

The non prosecution agreement would not cover crimes committed after said agreement was reached, would it? That would be the ultimate blank check.

So there’s some interesting stuff to talk about with this. For one, the recent SCOTUS decision in Trump v CASA seems to suggest that Federal Districts are somewhat independent of each other. If she was given immunity in one district, she may not have been given immunity in the other districts. I don’t see how a judge could grant immunity from crimes nationwide but a not stop an unconstitutional law from taking effect nationwide. That would just be blatant hypocrisy from the highest court and we all know that’s not really their thing. /S
Also, Epstein’s deal gave all of his uncharged co-conspirators immunity. She would have to admit she was a co-conspirator at the time and was named in that immunity agreement with all the other co-conspirators. To prove it she would have to provide the names of all the conspirators on the immunity agreement. That SHOULD mean the entire co-conspirator list will become part of the case record and presented to the public. That’s the Epstein list everyone has been clamoring for. A single list of everyone who was part of the criminal conspiracy of trafficking young girls with Epstein.
I think this actually further increases the chance of the pardon or commutation. If Trump was an uncharged co-conspirator, he doesn’t want that to be made public. That’s probably why the meetings were happening before this was announced. Maybe she wasn’t able to secure what she wanted and figured she should go scorched earth.
That’s assuming of course they don’t shadow docket this and try to sweep it under the rug, which is also a possibility.

And you know what? Her conviction SHOULD be thrown out. You know why? Cuz Trump all but already pardoned her when he buried the Epstein case.
According to the Trump admin, Epstein didn’t do anything wrong. There are no co-conspirators and there is no list. So there was no trafficking. So why is she in custody?
