      He’s getting ever more desperate. Putin isn’t going to even entertain anything less than a complete surrender from Ukraine. Trump, meanwhile, probably thinks he’s still ‚friends‘ with Putin and is trying to spin the situation such that he comes out looking like he deserves a Nobel Peace Prize while Putin also is happy with what the outcome is.

      I’m guessing that ever since the 50 day ultimatum, Putin’s camp has been radio silent and Trump is starting to panic that he can’t strongarm Putin into trying to talking a ceasefire.
