With a widespread e-coli outbreak they won’t be able to ignore it for long. It’s a nasty bacteria.
Like flint, they knew the water was fucked and tried to get away with it and hope they can get it under control without letting anyone know they fucked up, then someone finally gets sick or dies and exposes what is going on.
Fun water fact: a failed grab sample at the sink like the one mentioned here could simply just be due to unsanitary home conditions as opposed to a tainted water supply. Typically E.Coli would mess up more than just a single baby if it was found to be present in a municipal water supply.
It’s only going to get worse, trump is eliminating the EPA and wants total deregulation for the country. It’s going to be like love canal everywhere. Vote blue.
Those water operators are about to get a fat ass audit. I’m in texas as an auditor/sampler and they do not fucking okay with E coli.
I’d see what it would take to have a well dug on the property. And just buy drinking water. I live out in the country so this is what we do. I hope the situation for that family improves.
How about the areas around Northrop Grumman on Long Island with astronomical levels of breast cancer and other super rare immune diseases? They leaked fucking benzene into the ground for decades and everyone I know has a family member with some exotic cancer.

I know this is a conspiracy sub, and there are plenty of 100% true cover ups by corporations dumping poison in the water…. But in the specific case above where there is a case of e.coli in a baby, I just wonder if the positive water sample from the home was taken by a trained water sampler or by the homeowner and then sent to a lab. There’s a lot of room for error when sampling for bacteria if you don’t follow protocol.
