If Democrats manage to get any political power again, and then botch it, *again*, that will almost certainly be the end of the party.
Most of the current serving Democrats in congress are gutless cowards. I wish it weren’t so, but they are. They don’t want to do anything except show up and vote how the donors tell them.
And that is why they lose so fucking always. Their voter base is not as cult-like and servile as Republicans. They will not keep showing up for losers who want to preserve a status quo that doesn’t fucking work for anyone and hasn’t i a long time.
With Republicans defunding Medicare and making it more difficult to get insurance. Democrats really should use that as a rallying cry why we should have Medicare for all with no gate keeping . If everyone got Medicare regardless of income it makes it more difficult for the wealthy to turn the middle class against it because they would be hurting themselves as well.
Back to seventy percent tax.
Pushing for something isn’t doing much when they have no power
Democrats need to focus on raising taxes for the wealthy and corporations and using that money to improve the lives of working-class Americans. Even just taxing all income over $1 million as ordinary income, raising the corporate tax rate back to 28%, and closing the loopholes that rich people use to avoid taxes, would generate hundreds of billions of dollars a year that can be used to provide affordable housing, healthcare, unlimited paid sick time, and paid family leave.
But they won’t, though. Dems are just gonna stick to the “kitchen table” issues… 🙄
Don’t forget to overturn citizens United while we’re at it
Why is taxpayer money for medicare advtage plan going to fund association dues for golf course country clubs. HSA for gum membership benefit the upperclass. This wealthfare needs to stop!
Remove a couple sitting SCOTUS judges or pack the court
Democrats need to rebrand as the Roosevelt Party and run on a second bill of rights.

I’d like to see a project 2025 type plan from Democrats with plans and ways to accomplish the vision spelled out. Then make it happen.
No, what should do is put out their vision for the future of America. That could include repealing the BBB or reinstating the IRA or whatever… but it needs to be a cohesive vision and it needs to be easily explainable. Until they are able to do that they are sunk.
America is well overdue for another new deal. What we have now is barely a democracy. It’s a bunch of oligarch billionaires that run everything.
If the congress flips the house and senate overwhelmingly to get a super majority they better be impeaching and removing everyone until the speaker becomes president and the Supreme Court is rid of the cancer.

Trump has done decades of damage in MONTHS. Unless you have someone who comes in with a massive majority there’s nothing that will be done, especially with them rigging up the supreme court.
Democrats should do everything in their power to destroy the Republican Party. They have betrayed the constitution, their constituents, and undermined our nation.
