Ich habe kürzlich eine Menge Colbert -Beiträge bemerkt und dachte, ich würde eine ziemlich zahme Meinung über ihn abgeben. Ich denke, meine Gedanken sind etwas zu weit von dem entfernt, was die Echo -Kammer von weit links geplant hatte, weil ich ein Perma -Verbot erhielt, als der Beitrag begann, ein paar Antworten zu bekommen. Natürlich wurde keine Erklärung gegeben. Colbert ist seit dieser neuesten Ausgabe mit Trump plötzlich ein kostbarer, unberührter Märtyrer geworden.

So I’m not exactly a fan of Trump or some of the more extreme MAGA cultist. However, I never personally found Colbert funny as well and I happen to agree that he wasn’t as funny as someone like Leno or Letterman. That’s just personal taste and to get banned over that is just some biased BS.
With that said, what I dont agree with is that he got cancelled from underperfoming. At least not solely that. While I obviously dont know this for a fact and I’m willing to admit as much, I think the likelihood of him being cancelled because of Trump is much higher than him being cancelled over just underperfoming.

The show is literally one of if not the top late-night talk shows on tv… for instance while it has seen a 40% drop in ad revenue over the past 7 years, industry wide, late-night shows have seen a 50% drop…
Aka, they are using one specific metric as a scapegoat so they don’t get in trouble… it didn’t work out for them because the Trump team is way too stupid to keep their mouths shut and broadcast to the world what their plan was and still is, including their threatening to do it again to other shows
The Sabra hummus dip sketch which was one of the first months of him taking air was good. He was a funny guy. Colbert report was great

Not gonna lie, don’t know who the f is that dude but almost all the usa comedians are just utter crap, either they have the equivalent of Amy schummer jokes but gender reversed, or they are just weirdos with Hidden agendas.
Either way nowadays you can find a comment from a rando on internet and pretty sure you would laugh more of that than any of the jokes from proclamed profesional comedians on tv.

As a far left guy I also don’t really care for Colbert since the Colbert report ended. Centrist libs are apparently very upset about one of the dozen talk shows getting cancelled.
