No, since I have Firefox with Ublock Origin. These ads are terrible, and are so well made honestly.
Sometimes I see adds like these on Facebook. I report them for being scams and every single time I get the answer they didn’t remove the video….what the flippidy fuck Facebook.
Google (or whichever company runs them) should be held responsible for these, they’re profiting from running these scam ads.
So many, with various politicians and in both French and Dutch. Always report them but we know they (Instagram in my case) don’t care.
These ads have indeed been invading YouTube recently. For me it was usually Gertje or Marc Coucke. The ads all come from India. Report them. YT will remove them because these ads are 100% illegal.
BTW YouTube is giving adblockers a very hard time these days. This week I can not watch age-restricted videos while running an adblocker. Last week I had trouble with closed captions. It’s an ongoing battle between Adblock and YT.
Yeah, my mom got scammed by one of those Paul D’hoore AI crypto scams for 250€. That’s 250€ gone from my inheritance.
I called the bank to ask what’s up, and why they allow transactions to fraudulent accounts… but they give jack shit about that.
