      Created myself using python matplotlib.

Unemployment refers to the state of not having a job when actively seeking one. It’s when individuals who are capable and willing to work cannot find employment.

Underemployment, on the other hand, describes a situation where individuals are employed but not in positions that fully utilize their skills, experience, or available working hours

Legit where is environmental science. Feels like it belongs up in top unemployment for most of the year

    3. My biggest gripe with these is that places like Nursing and Education have over 50% burnout rate. Meaning that if an individual did end up at a job the likelihood of them staying in the field was low.

As for Computer Science and Stem. Underemployement can be especially vague because **anything** tech adjacent can be considered being employed in the field. As for the others, they tend to be extremely niche with very few opportunities but also not many people pursuing.

An example of the vagueness of underemployment whats omitted but on the list as some of the lowest were General Education, Secondary Education, Special Education. Two are related to teaching and one is for just a general major.

I know for a fact that Special Education has one of the highest burn outs as well. You should take these statistics with a grain of salt and realize the following: Computer Science degrees and Engineering particularly have a large uptick of degree seekers that has grown exponentially however, the number of jobs have not seen an increase in proportion. Any changes of statistics may not appear due to how various factors are considered for these statistics.

Underemployment of individuals aged 22-27 is not indicative of current economic conditions. Which are different.

I’d really like to know the reason Nutrition Sciences has the lowest unemployment rate haha

    5. Can anyone with insight into the medical field explain the discrepancy between Nursing and Medical Technicians??

It seems very odd that they’d have such drastic differences given their workplace similarities

Technically, teaching someone how to dougie on youtube could be considered miscellaneus education, so it seems I’ve found a loophole.
