Not only should they purchase the drones, but they should also learn from the skilled operators. If you really think about it, Ukraine is one of our strongest allies as they have modern warfare experience.
How do the drones help USA?
There’s a lot for the US to gain from this partnership. Drone warfare is going to be a major component of any future conflict, be that two major powers squaring off or a major power fighting an insurgency. Ukraine has experience combating and using both the high tech drones of a major power and the cheap homemade drones that would be used by an insurgency.
