Ich war kürzlich schon ein langes Wochenende in Mannheim und nahm einige Zeit, um Spyer zu besuchen. Während ich den Tag dort plante, hörte ich von der "Technik Museum Speyer" und beschloss, es etwa 3 Stunden mit der Mittagspause zu geben. Sehr schöne und gut organisierte Expo und hervorragende Sammlung von Ausrüstungsgegenständen (modern und alt). Ausgezeichnet speziell für Kinder. Ich war in vielen anderen, in verschiedenen Ländern (einschließlich der Aerospace NASA -Ausstellung in Houston), und das Spyer Museum ist viel vielfältiger und gut präsentiert. Geben Sie sich einen ganzen Tag für alle umfassenden Besuche.

Speyer is nice and Sinsheim also (there you see the Tupolev and the Concorde).
Hot tip: The Technik Museum Speyer has a companion museum in Sinsheim which has a very impressive collection of airplanes, including a Concord and a Tupolev, both of which you can climb into. The also have a submarine and a bunch of old US and other racing cars, including hot rods!
this is one of the coolest places i’ve been to, even tho in my opinion they could have added tons of written information, i’m used to long texts about every thing in an exhibition from german state museums and it was kind of lacking in that aspects
Visit it at least once per year, the russia “space shuttle” is always impressive, they have a Science Fiction convention each fall that is full of cosplayers.
