JPow just hit Trump with a Bureau-of-Labor-Statistics uppercut after dodging Trump’s ‘Best Economy Ever’ haymaker: facts win by KO!

Would have also been amazing if he said, sir you approved that building in your first term, and it opened on 2021

The sanest person in government right now isn’t even part of the three branches.

    4. Everytime Trump tries to embarrass somebody . It winds up being an own goal. They are always smarter than him.

Yes because you added another building in… it was finished 5 years ago.

Trump could have so easily gotten out of this by saying something like, „Oh, yeah, that’s what I thought,“ after Powell corrected him. It still makes him „sound right“ while acknowledging he was actually wrong. Instead, he doubles down on being wrong, making him look even dumber.

    6. That clip was basically Tool Time..

      Trump: *blabbering random shit

Jerome: I don’t think so Tim

DJT is a delusional lunatic. The man has a distinct inability to see reality or speak any truth. I wouldn’t be surprised if he can’t read, or his dementia has ripped away his ability to read.

If 47 ever did a lick of preparation for meetings with smart adversaries, he would be truly dangerous. Instead, what he is is truly, magnificently ignorant. Our best hope is to be entertained as Trump goes down in flames, much like he did today under Chairman Powell’s capable hands.

See, not that fucking hard. If this was a regular thing he wouldn’t have ever been elected in the first place.

I saw a comment over in WSB. As someone pointed out, had trump just made the claim and nothing else, Powell would have really only been able to say the first part „I have not seen that“ But trump is so fucking dumb that he says no, I have it right here, and pulls out the bullshit paper. I am so glad he is that stupid to make himself look even stupider.

    11. “That’s a different building finished five years ago.”

“Well, it’s part of the overall… hey look, I took my hard hat off!”

Why were you wearing it to start with, dipshit, if you can pop it off whenever?

    12. The way Diddler J slapped Powell in the back was yet another disgraceful act by this fraud. A quick „Keep your hands off me, I am not a 13-year old girl.“ would have been quite appropriate for Powell to say to Diddler.

    13. Every time Child Rapist Trump speaks on this subject, he reaffirms why Powell’s position needs to be independent from the designs of career criminal presidents.

    14. People 20 years from now will think this exchange isn’t a big deal.

But Powell showed more guts on camera next to Trump than any other government or media representative at a time when Trump is suing networks, universities, and using the office to punish anyone who disagrees with him. Powell knows Trump is a petty and power hungry child, but still spoke up.

It’s basically a normal, professional conversation between to adults. If you have a different opinion or know better you say so. The reason why this conversation seems so remarkable is that Donald Trump thinks it’s mean and unfair to him if others have their own opinion or know something better than him. He is too sensitive for a straight conversation so everyone around him agrees with him to not make him whine.

It’s great to remember that Donald Trump, in all of his sagacious wisdom was the one who hired Powell in the 1st place in 2016.. „Jerome Powell was sworn in as chairman on February 5, 2018. He had been first nominated to the position by President Donald Trump on November 2, 2017, and confirmed by the Senate.“

    17. If this weren’t real, it would be hilarious. Even the way it was shot seemed like a scene where someone like Michael Scott wrongfully blabbered on while a blindsided and panicked coworker scrambled to correct him.

Loved this. He owned him. Speaking truth to power in real time. I guess Donald must be relieved that Biden appointed him.  /s

It’s like a kid bringing home a paper from school and the parent correcting him. “No donny it doesn’t say you’re gifted it says you’re special”

Just a nasty bully, trying to act superior, the pompous ass received a lesson in quiet truth

    21. Should read; “idiot gets fact-checked live”. WAY more accurate title…..🤦‍♂️🙄

    22. If more people did this, we probably wouldn’t be here. Call the lie out to his face.

    23. it should be noted the rebuild project was fully funded internally BY the Fed and the previous building/offices were 100 years old

    24. Bishopjones2112 on

That’s awesome. I love this. Every single person needs to start correcting Trump when he starts spouting off wrong crap. Every single person should be saying “ nope you are wrong” “you made that up”. Because the man lies and lies and uses those lies to try and get his way. Whether it’s approval of bill that screws most of the citizens or if it’s like this where he tries to support the appearance of incompetence to support firing a guy. Everyone needs to see this and make sure no one lets him lie

    25. Big_Factor2510 on

Now that a man with balls. Love it! But i would bet Trump will try to remove him for pointing out how he was wrong!

    26. minammikukin on

Giving a page of numbers meant to fool the person who got his job because he is SO DAMN GOOD AT NUMBERS is a middle-school-bully-level novice move. Get recked!

    27. Powell is the only person Trump appointed that is actually qualified and did a good job.

    28. Tim Scott practically throwing himself on donOlds dong “I heard that too!”

    29. Please correct me if/where I’m wrong, but here’s my take on the :

This wasn’t just a fact check… it was a live, televised revelation of someone’s attempt to cook the books. Adding in a $400m capital development cost for an already-built building is real estate financial fraud; there’s no other defensible reason for why a 5-year old building would be included in this project’s description. Right?

If so, in the least, this should obligate an internal investigation by Powell to determine what person(s) created that draft of the budget. He either has a rat in his house or (IMO, the more likely scenario) this is a falsified document from outside his chain of command (which, in an ideal world) could tack on conspiracy alongside the fraud attempt itself.

I thought this article involved Epstein and him claiming the fifth when asked if he and Trump we’re ever in the presence of females under the age of eighteen.

But I now realize it’s about Powell. Literally the only person holding the economy together.

The entire time he’s the „he’s a fucking moron“ look

    32. VictoryComfortable92 on

At what point should he have just declared bankruptcy on the remodel?

    33. Imagine the only person with the balls to stand up to the fat 80 year old idiot is his apointee.
