Kate is Ireland’s 3rd ever female gold medalist at the World University Games, winning with a new national record score in the heptathlon! 👏
The first two Irish women to win gold medals were Sonia O’Sullivan in 1991 for the 1500m in athletics & Danielle McVeigh in 2007 for golf.
