Heck yes, they meaning the Trump administration don’t know anyone with AIDS, why would they care?
This might be too simplistic, but… pay China to make the drug for less. They could probably set up a factory in a month and crank it out. Plus they’d get good public relations.

Despite being the best businessmen in the world, these Republicans don’t understand economics, velocity of money, supply chains, international trade, social relations, politics, human capital, or anything else that they can easily learn about if they listened to anyone who knows what they are talking about.
Time to let Chinese taxpayers pay for it. Russia, or whoever. We need to fix our own problems. Noone is preventing all ya’ll complaining about this to donate to a charity that helps out AID’s programs. Get busy writing those checks folks and quit bitching about it.
