I have a theory. It’s China behind the curtains. Trying to flare up all the conflicts in it’s neighbourhood to test what will be the outcome of it. These limited scale conflicts can be flared up again when it will be time to go for Taiwan, so that all these countries(Thailand, Vietnam, Phillipines, Malaysia etc) can not come together and mount a serious challenge to the Chinese military during the process.
Thai needs to invest in apache helicopters. Those can take out massive amount of targets in a short period of time.
